The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), UN-Habitat and the World Bank, under the facilitating role of Cities Alliance, joined forces to provide coordinated and concerted support to cities in addressing climate change issues, particularly developing countries. This cooperation is a response to the rapid development of knowledge, practice and city demand in this thematic area. The Knowledge Centre is one result of this joint initiative. Read more
